SECRETARY MARK KIRK TO STAND DOWN FROM COLTS COMMITTEE
May 2023
CLARKSTON Colts can confirm secretary Mark Kirk will stand down from the role at the end of the season.
Mark has played a huge part in bringing stability to the Colts during his four-year tenure, overseeing much of the day-to-day running of the club. His tireless efforts have also allowed us to introduce additional age groups.
He will remain a vital member of the Colts family and everyone at the club wishes him all the best for the future.
Mark said: "I know the club is in a strong place and look forward to seeing it continue to grow."
Anyone interested in the position should speak to a committee member or email clarkstoncolts@gmail.com
ONE EASY WAY YOU CAN SUPPORT THE COLTS EVERY TIME YOU SHOP
September 14, 2022
ARE you always adding items to your Amazon basket? Maybe a week never passes by without an order from JustEat? Or perhaps it's the Screwfix app that's always giving you your fix?
If, like us, you aren't a stranger to shopping online, then we have some good news for you.
You can help raise money for Clarkston Colts every time you shop - all without costing you a single penny extra.
The Colts have joined easyfundraising, a site that works with some of the biggest brands in retail, from John Lewis to Ocado.
Each time you make a purchase (by first logging on via the app or website), a percentage of your bill will be paid towards Clarkston Colts - and this ranges from 0.5% to £50 (and beyond).
PLAYERS WANTED FOR AMBITIOUS CLARKSTON COLTS 2007S
June 2022
CLARKSTON Colts 2007s are looking to recruit dedicated players in all positions ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The Colts would like to strengthen our ambitious team as we look to build on the steps taken during the last campaign, which saw us finish mid-table in a highly competitive league.
With UEFA qualified coaches and a specialised SFA level 3 goalkeeper coach, we believe we are the best place for players in all positions to take the next step in their career.
COLTS LAUNCH NEW DIAMONDS IN THE COMMUNITY SPONSORED KIT
March 2022
CLARKSTON Colts are delighted to reveal our 2007s' new home kit - inspired by our past and sponsored by an important local cause.
The red and white hooped VSN jerseys feature our traditional colours but with a refreshed design, losing the black sleeves of old for a sleeker, more modern look. They also mark an exciting new chapter in the club's history.
CLARKSTON COLTS CELEBRATING COUNCIL GRANT AWARD
March 2022
CLARKSTON Colts are delighted to announce we have scored a £1,000 cash boost.
The Colts have been awarded the money - the maximum available for a calendar year - from the latest round of North Lanarkshire Council’s Community Grant scheme.
With our Mini Colts (ages 2014/15 and 16) continuing to grow and our 2007s in a stronger position than ever before, the funds will be used to cover the costs of lets - our largest outgoing - and new equipment. While a final decision will be made in due course, this will likely be on foldable, portable goals and other essential items.
Gordon Wright, club chairman, said: “This is great news for the club at an exciting time for all of us."
